Q:
Is Medipouch®
machine washable?
Yes, machine
wash separately in
cold water. I
recommend using a
lingerie bag when
washing. Do not
bleach. Line Dry.
Q:
Are the auto-injectors
pretty secure in the
pouch and not able to
fall out easily when
my child is running
around the schoolyard
with her friends?
Yes, the opening is at
the top; Velcro hook
and loop is sewn
across the full length
of the pouch with pull
loops for easy
opening.
When the Velcro
is closed the injector
cannot fall out.
In addition
there is an elastic
loop inside the pouch
to insert the
auto-injector into for
added security.
Q:
The pouch becomes
uncomfortable when I
sit for long periods.
Slide
the pouch around to
your stomach.
You will not feel the
hardness of the
auto-injector tube and
will find it very
comfortable.
Q:
What is the elastic
loop inside of the
pouch for?
The elastic loops on
the interior of Medipouch®
are to hold the
auto-injector
securely. They
were the
recommendation of a
friend who is a
teacher and has seen
people panic in
stressful situations
and lose or destroy
medical gear.
Q:
Can I pay by phone?
No, we do not have the
ability to take credit
card orders by phone:
only thru our website.
We have two
methods for payment;
click on the money
order icon on the left
hand side of the
website page and mail
the form along with a
money order in USD or
choose your items on
the products page
which sends you to our
secure credit card
processor.
Q:
Do I need the optional
tube?
The optional tube was
offered because EpiPen
originally came in an
easily broken, amber-colored
case; it now comes in
a sturdy clear tube.
If you have the EpiPen
in a clear tube with
either a green or
yellow screw-on cap,
the optional tube will
not be needed. Medipouch®
optional
tubes are normally
ordered by European
customers where EpiPen
is not available in
the clear tube.

Q:
Will
a syringe, an
aspirator and a small
vial of liquid
medication fit into
the pouch?
The pouch sizes are
listed below. Draw a
rectangle on a piece
of paper that matches
one of these sizes to
see if the items you
are describing will
fit inside the pouch.
The compact pouch
dimensions are
approximately: 7
1/4" x 2
1/4" (18.4x5.7cm)
The standard pouch
dimensions are
approximately: 7
1/4" x 3
5/8" (18.4x9.2cm)
Q:
Is
there a tag for
emergency contact
information?
No, we recommend
putting the emergency
information on labels
(sticky return address
labels) and attaching
them right on the
injectors' protective
cases. That way your
backup injectors for
the school nurse etc.
will also have the
information at hand.
Q: Do
you sell this product
for very young
children to wear?
Yes,
Medipouch®
has
been purchased for
children as young as 2
years. Of course at
that age, they are too
young to inject
themselves; however,
the life saving
medication is readily
at hand for an adult
to access and
administer.
